Games People Play

In the preface, Berne describes the book as a sequel to Transactional Analysis in Psychotherapy designed to stand on its own. He says students and lecture audiences requested lists and fuller discussions of games and credits patients and colleagues with observations. This is his account of the book’s origin and intended clinical orientation.
